We are looking for a talented and experienced property solicitor (4-6 years PQE) to handle a broad range of work including site acquisition and disposal, investment, development, landlord and tenant, plot sales, estate management and property finance both in commercial and residential sectors. The variety of work reflects our broad and diverse client base, where you will have the opportunity to deal with clients directly, and to develop your skills and expertise with support from a highly experienced team.

You will need to be self-reliant, responsive, flexible and commercially-minded with a good grasp of the relevant law, but will enjoy working in a supportive collegiate atmosphere where talent is recognised and rewarded. Ideally we are looking for someone with a modest client following, although this is not essential to a successful application.

The successful candidate will:

• have an excellent academic and career record;
• possess good business sense and commercial awareness;
• be willing and able to take on leadership roles in transactional work;
• be comfortable working in a close team and delegating to junior members as appropriate;
• possess excellent communication skills with clients and colleagues;
• have good networking skills and be prepared to engage in marketing initiatives; and
• be ambitious and eager to share responsibility for the organisation and development of the department.
