IWG commemorates Holocaust Memorial Day by supporting The Anne Frank Trust’s annual luncheon

Partners from Ingram Winter Green were delighted to support the annual luncheon hosted by The Anne Frank Trust UK which works to reduce hatred and prejudice throughout society.

The occasion not only marked Holocaust Memorial Day, held on 27 January every year, but also the 75th anniversary of the publication of Anne Frank’s diary on 25 June 1947.

The event was attended by HRH The Duchess of Cornwall who gave an inspiring speech urging the nation not to be “bystanders to injustice or prejudice” and to learn from those who witnessed the “horrors of the Holocaust”.

Dame Joanna Lumley also shared some moving words: “It is by connecting across differences that we thwart those who try to use those differences to divide us… this is the age of young people we need in order to build a world free from hatred”.
