Daniel Shein joins the property team at IWG Solicitors

Ingram Winter Green Solicitors is pleased to welcome Daniel Shein to the property team. Daniel is a commercial property solicitor with extensive experience working on real estate acquisitions, disposals, funding and major lettings.

Daniel’s clients include landowners, property investors and developers, funds and institutions, many of whom operate in the office, retail, leisure, gym and industrial warehouse markets.  He also acts for several established banks and funders, and has been advising on development finance and security.

“The firm frequently acts for investors and traders who wish to refinance their property portfolios and we are likely to see growth in this area in 2021, so Daniel is a welcome addition to our property finance team,” says senior partner Daniel Ginsbury.

There has also been a significant influx of lease regearing instructions from landlord clients; while the commercial property marketplace is recalibrating, following the impact of the Covid pandemic, there is an important balance to be struck between being sympathetic to struggling tenants while protecting the interests of landowners and investors. Daniel’s expertise in the landlord and tenant arena is therefore particularly relevant.

Daniel Shein hit the ground running and completed the acquisition of a £7.5 million property transaction, which he introduced via his pre-existing contacts, within a couple of weeks of starting at IWG.

I’m delighted to join Ingram Winter Green, a firm which is known for punching above its weight, and to work with a diverse and dynamic group of clients in the UK and from overseas.”

Daniel is known for his pragmatic and personal approach to transactions and his ability to deliver clear cut advice to clients on complex, multi-party transactions.

Out of the office, Daniel enjoys sports and fitness, spending time with his young family and travelling. He is also a keen supporter of Arsenal Football Club.

Previously, he worked at City firm, Goodman Derrick LLP for 6 years after having trained at Solomon Taylor and Shaw solicitors.
